Roxburgh Park Community House and Children’s Centre

About the Centre

Welcome to Roxburgh Park Community House and Children’s Centre, where we strive to provide the best opportunities and experiences for our children and families. Each term our educators try to incorporate special events including a welcome morning tea for new families, dress up days, International Week, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events, sports days and more. These special events are sometimes a result of children’s interests and play, or come from special occasions in the local community.

Our centre has children and families from a wide variety of backgrounds, with over half of them who come from different countries and speak up to two or more languages. We have access to interpreters who can translate information for children and families. Each month we also have local Story Tellers from Hume City Council’s Hume Libraries, who come to the centre to read stories and sing songs for the children in Arabic, Turkish, Assyrian and Chaldean languages.
